Meet Dr. Molly

Hi! I’m Dr. Molly, a postdoctoral fellow. My goal is to create a nonjudgmental environment where you feel safe to process your emotions and work towards the meaningful life that you want.

I specialize in treating adults with emotional difficulties involving anxiety, trauma, depression, life transitions, and more. I’m particularly passionate about applying my expertise to women’s reproductive health issues, such as pregnancy, postpartum, pregnancy loss, infertility, transitioning into motherhood, and sexual difficulties. Additionally, integrating diversity and intersectionality into our work together is incredibly important to me.

I’m committed to evidence-based practice and use therapeutic approaches that are proven to work. I mostly utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), pulling from other evidence-based treatments as appropriate (such as dialectical behavior therapy or DBT). (And if you’re curious about my training, I completed my M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Mississippi and my pre-doctoral internship at Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital in Chicago!)

Whether the source of your distress is from your past, present, or potential future, emotions can feel overwhelming, out-of-control, and have a cascading effect. I want to help you find the strength I know you have to face these emotions and take back control of your life.

If you’re interested in working together, reach out to me at Dr. Allison and Associates. Don’t wait – we’re here to support you.
